The Fulton DeKalb Hospital Authority’s Community Health Awareness and Prevention Office guides it’s strategies based upon best practices that are evident across all health outcomes. We work diligently through education, advocacy and collaborative partnership to provide funding to organizations who serve our most vulnerable communities. We embrace the socioecological model in our approach to understanding the influences and partnerships needed to address health disparities in Fulton and DeKalb County.

The Fulton-DeKalb Hospital Authority promotes the health of the greater Atlanta community. Governed by a ten member Board of Trustees appointed by the commissioners of Fulton and DeKalb counties, the Authority is committed to working to meet the healthcare needs of the residents of Fulton and DeKalb counties through oversight of the Grady Memorial Hospital Corporation.
